Lash Care & Eye-Area Safety
Care tailored to the product
Ask for instructions for the actual adhesive or treatment used, including cleansing, makeup removal and activity guidance. Do not pull or pick extensions and do not improvise removal products near your eyes.
Before an appointment
Share prior reactions and current eye symptoms. Avoid routine cosmetic use on infected eyes or inflamed surrounding skin until healed. A patch assessment does not guarantee that no later reaction can occur.
When to get help
Stop using a product that causes irritation. Persistent irritation should be discussed with a healthcare professional. Significant pain, swelling, discharge or vision changes require medical attention. Salon care is not medical treatment.
Tint and chemical-treatment questions
Do not use hair dye on lashes. Eye-area colorants have specific restrictions. Confirm product suitability and service availability; a lift does not automatically include tint.
